Seth L. Schwartz, Managing Director

Mr. Schwartz has over 12 years of business planning, consulting, and investment banking experience. Mr. Schwartz has served in a variety of senior business development and investment banking capacities with several prominent financial services and business planning organizations over the last decade. Prior to Capital West Advisors, Mr. Schwartz served, for several years, as a General Partner of JumpStart Capital Resources, a full-service business planning, business development, and strategic consulting firm specializing in early and growth stage companies in a wide array of industries including consumer goods, technology, Internet, services, retail, restaurants, and real estate. Prior to JumpStart Capital Resources, he served as the Director of Business Development for Abraham Publishing Group, a leading provider of strategic business and marketing consulting that served a wide range of companies from start-up companies to Fortune 500 companies. Prior to Abraham Publishing Group, he was a Senior Consultant for several years for the Kriegsman Group, a boutique investment banking firm, where he assisted several companies to procure capital primarily for biotechnology, information technology, medical device, health care, and Internet companies.
Mr. Schwartz received his Bachelors of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
Reginald K. Nugent, Managing Director

Mr. Nugent has over 25 years of experience in executive management and strategic planning. His industry expertise includes Biotechnology, Healthcare, Software, Internet, Consumer Goods, Manufacturing, Transportation, Telecommunications, Franchising, Public Sector, Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Media, and Real Estate/Construction. Prior to Capital West Advisors, Mr. Nugent served as Chief Executive Officer for Wellcare Surgical Centers, Inc., an ambulatory outpatient surgery center, which he co-founded in 2004 and currently serves on its Board of Directors. Prior to Wellcare, Mr. Nugent held the position of Adjunct Faculty and Director for the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Cal Poly for 4 years, with responsibility for developing programs to foster entrepreneurship and new venture development in the business community. In 1996, he co-founded Isadra, Inc., an Internet-based software company launched in the Silicon Valley, which was successfully acquired by Vertical Net, Inc. in 1999 for $50 million. Prior to Isadra, he was a financial planner and management analyst in the public finance field, working for the Metropolitan Transportation Commission, CA for 7 years, for the City of Berkeley, CA for 2 years and for the city of Oakland, CA for 1 year. Mr. Nugent has served on a variety of board of directors, co-founded start-up businesses, and provided strategic consulting to a multitude of start-up businesses.
Mr. Nugent completed all required coursework for his PhD in Applied Economics at Stanford University. He also holds a Master's Degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of West Indies.
Matthew Volsky, Managing Director

Matthew Volsky has over 8 years of business planning, financial analysis, and consulting experience, and is highly experienced at guiding business growth. His experience spans many industries including Real Estate, Construction, Agriculture, Alternative Energy, Software, Retail, and Consumer Products. Matt began his tenure at Capital West Advisors as an Associate performing business plan writing and capital introduction services in 2007. Prior to Capital West Advisors, he served as an Analyst at The Carlyle Group, where he analyzed a large number of commercial real estate development transactions. Before the Carlyle Group, Matt taught high school Economics and English. Matt has also taught Personal Finance courses in recent years and currently sits on the Board of Directors for Gynius AB, a Swedish medical device company.
Matt earned his Bachelor's of Business Administration degree from Tulane University with an emphasis in Finance and a Master's in Sustainable Development degree from Stockholm University at the Stockholm Resilience Centre.
John V. Celms, Advisor/Consultant

John Celms is a seasoned executive with a strong focus on finance, operations, and strategic business development. He possesses over 25 years of corporate finance, investment banking, and international business experience and his industry expertise includes Information Technology, Alternative Energy, Telecommunications, Chemicals, Financial Services, Engineering, Software, Internet, and Manufacturing & Distribution. Prior to Capital West Advisors, he was CEO of Hart Crowser, a financially troubled national environmental engineering company which under his direction was restored to profitability within two years. Prior to Hart Crowser, he was President/CEO of Seattle Silicon, a venture capital funded fabless semiconductor company designing proprietary ASICs. Under his leadership, Seattle Silicon was recognized as a Delotte & Touché Washington Technology Fast 50 company for two consecutive years and was successfully sold in 1999. He spent eight years as a Managing Partner for the Clarion Group, a Seattle corporate finance company helping northwest based businesses access investment capital. As such, he was instrumental in the financing of numerous companies primarily in the technology sector. John has worked throughout the United States, Hong Kong, and Eastern Europe.
John has served on the boards of Hart Crowser Engineering, Seattle Silicon, Precision Digital Imaging, Digital Harmony, Puget ChemCo, KAYU TV, and the Pacific Lutheran University Business School Advisory Board. He holds a Master's of Business Administration Degree from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor's of Arts Degree from the University of Washington.
Robert J. Wildeman, Advisor/Consultant

Bob Wildeman is a diverse senior executive with over 20 years of investment banking, operational and business development experience. He has managed consulting for companies in a wide range of industries for start-up, middle market, and Fortune 100 companies. Mr. Wildeman\'s industry experience includes Alternative Energy, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Education, Food & Beverage, and Business Services. He has expertise in cost containment, operational efficiency, finance and capital structure.
For several years, Bob was Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director of a $200 million investment company. Prior to that, he was a Director for a global financial services firm. For many years, Mr. Wildeman was also a Director and initial hire for a global alternative investment firm that now has over 1,200 employees and over $14 billion under management. Also, Mr. Wildeman has successfully launched companies with a special emphasis on infrastructure and liquidity.
Mr. Wildeman earned a B.S. in Finance from Michigan State University and completed his MBA at the University of Chicago with a double major in Finance and Strategy.
Joseph T. McColgan, Advisor/Consultant

He has over 35 years of experience across diverse business sectors, including manufacturing and supply chain, information technology, medical devices, financial services, software development, internet marketing, and engineering services. Joe has acted as a consultant and interim CEO for organizations from a wide array of industries, which has included generational transitions, bankruptcy proceedings, general crisis situations, and shareholder suits. His consulting engagements have included a "generational transition" paradigm for a $500 million distributor of mill work products for the residential and commercial construction market and a Chapter 11 reorganization of a $30 million manufacturer of specialty electronic missile control systems, which he developed a plan of re-organization for and led to emerge from Chapter 11. Joe has held management positions at several large companies including Garden State Paper, Technical Tape, Sun Chemical, Fabricated Systems, and UPACO Adhesives.
Joe holds a a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Master's Degree in Engineering from Yale University.
